Aynthing that would help us find and track them. What kind of ships they use, attack patterns, security measures taken by them, you name it. If you wish so we can compensate you for this information by providing assistance against this scum. These pirates hold information that is of high interest to the Federation.
Increasing pirate activities [Re-Opened]
Catplayz
"Ahem...well, admittedly we do not know too much about them as we didn´t manage to capture any of them yet. The seem to specialize on kidnapping people and hijacking ships, their atatcks usually seem well-planned out, which is why it´s so difficult to get them. However, we do have some records of their ships, just a moment..."
"There it is, we were also capable of making out the main sectors in which they seem to be operating lately, however as these sectors are quite big our policeforces still have issues reacting to them in time, so we are currently trying to re-direct as much traffic as possible."
Breaking News!
Most recent reports showed that pirate activity has reached another all-time high, according to latest information, the pirate activity has spread out further again, several trading convoys had disappeared from the sensors somewhere outside of the GSR borders (@boombox ), it is not unlikely that pirates have taken advantage of the current situation, namely an apparently upcoming civil war and the battles with the syndicate to further increase their hunting grounds, interestingly enough only foreign trading convoys have gone missing while GSR convoys were left untouched. Wether this is just mere chance or if there is more to that is unkown at teh current time, foreign and unaligned trading convoys have issues defending against those attacks and are currently searching for other trading routes, however it seems like some of them already started abandoning their relations to the GSR. Later that day a public response is transmissioned on all news channels...
You see a German Official with an eyepatch standing on a podest, behind him Vernichters taking off, troops marching loading ships up, checking their weaponry...
/Public Information Transmission:/
"Guten Morgen, Citizens of zhe GSR and neighbouring states and factions. My name is Großadmiral Rommel. It has come to our attention zhat zhe pirate problem has increased outside of our borders. While our own transports were not hit due to zhe heavy firepower we use to protect zhe convoys, it is out of question zhe problem needs to be dealt with."
He steps aside and lifts his hand towards the ships in the background..
"Zhese ships and a whole battallion more in orbit will from zhis day patrol zhe areas outside of zhe GSR. If neighbouring factions cannot get zhe problem done, zhen wir will. Hey, Soldat!"
He holds a soldier...
Soldier: "Ja, mein Herr?"
Rommel: "Could you tell zhe viewers vhat your mission is?"
Soldier: "Sir, To bring down zhe pirate scum and secure our borders, Sir!"
Rommel: "Very well, proceed."
The soldier salutes and moves on...
"As you can see, wir are ready to end zhis problem. It is inacceptable zhat civilians die in front of our eyes. And a message to you pirates out zhere, I know you will see zhis, Der Wüstenfuchs kommt euch holen."

From this point onwards German Patrols will search for pirate activities outside of GSR boundaries...

...as the GSR started sending out escort to the outer sectors it did seem to have some effect, however, it was far from perfect...
A variety of traders were now escorted from outside the borders inside, diminishing the pirate atatcks, occassionally weird ftl signatures popped up near convoys, but they soon faded, unable to be tracked...
However, the issue stayed, at the current time the GSR territory was too big to escort any single trader that entered or left so the raids continued, less frequently however but with this a new issue started arising, as the GSR expanded their protected territory, traders started getting attacked even further out than before, bad tongues said that there would be at least some advantage of that, at some point enough tarders would´ve abandoned relations with the GSR that all remaining ones would be perfectly able to be escorted in and out without issues, but until then the issue stayed, oddly enough the escorts barely ever got sight of pirate ships and even then they seemed to be already prepared to jump away and disappeared immedietly...

Thank you. Once the Federation has acquired the information about the artifacts we will make sure to support against this scourge. May the shadows be with you.

...accordingto their current Information Pirate activities seemed to be most frequent in the sectors G-9B-Gamma and N-12C-Omikron, trying to find them in these sectors would probably still prove quite difficult but at least they had a starting point now...
Drakador_Chaos
This continued for a while, but sometimes GSR convoys also pass through the outermost sectors without protection... Today was such a day...
A single convoy slowly made its way through a largely unpopulated sector, on its course to an unknown destination...
(Picture doesnt want to work...)

It is not long long before the Kel´Shir send several seekers, each equipped with a small personal fighter equipped with cloaking and advanced scanners. Orders are to find and follow any ships identified as belonging to the Undead Roses.

...as expected soon a mid-sized group of pirates left Hyperspace, oddly enough there were no strange ftl signatures this time...
Several Imperial looking ships started approaching the convoy at high speeds, the moment they entered realspace a large interdiction field popped up in the surrounding area, they sent no transmissions but their shields and weapon systems seemed to be online...
Catplayz
...once they arrived in the sectors their sheer size, as per usual for space, became apparent, yet the Kel´Shir started searching...
The first attempts were apparently quite useless, as they didn´t find anything initially, neither pirates nor any civlian ships... though after a few hours of fruitless searching and scanning, one of the seekers picked up a civilian distress signal...
Drakador_Chaos
The convoy does not react.... Nothing happens.... except of a single transmission from the convoy...
Drakador_Chaos
The seeker swiftly turned his ship and headed towards the signal, making sure that his signature was nearly undetectable.

FROM: I.S.V MAPPER
TO: ALVAN-7C" Solid copy, changing survey route. Thanks, ALVAN-7C. "
The ship stops, and then turns away, warping to another location that hopefully isn't full of pirates...
Meanwhile, Far away, the news eventually reaches Remnant Territory...
"Unlikely.. Around here especially.. Better safe than sorry.."
A Small burst of energy may be detected as all of the Remnant's Mass Fabricators come online at once..
Remnant Patrols have increased in mere days, and Tower Relays activate, Most busy areas have Akross Fleet ships, ready in case of an attack..
"Its about time we take back whats ours..Search For 57...Begins."
(Doubt anyone will know or even remember what it is referencing to..)

...wether the ships took note of the transmission or not was unknown, they did not seem to react to it however...
The moment they came into firing range, heavy Turbolaser batteries opened fire, concentrating on engines and external sensor-equipment of the cargo-ships...
Interestingly enough they seemed to be well-organized, flying in formation and cycling their Turbolaser volleys...
Catplayz
...the seeker came in to a rather...interesting scene, a mid-sized ship was surrounded by several ships which matched the look of the undead roses, circling it, whatever happened, the shields of the civilian ship were already down and several of the fighters seemed to be docked onto the ship...
Additionally to that, a rather odd ftl signature was coming from the larger pirate ships...
RedAndCosmoteer
...once the surveyship left the police vessels continued their patrol along the borders...
FangTheCat
(There´s not really any point in writing a reply to that but, hey...)
...neither the pirates nor the local civilians or gouvernment seemed to know about what happened a pointless amount of lightyears away from them and even if they did, they likely wouldn´t care as they had other things to do...
So they continued whatever they may have been doing...
Drakador_Chaos
(Well, nothing can turn into the very best something..)
(The Remna are planning to launch an attack as well, if possible, They are excessively persistent, even if the trouble has not reached them, they have the mindset that it eventually will, and will eradicate it before they become a target.)
Small fleets of Remna Scouts are sent across the galaxy, mostly at points of interest or previous attack..
(Images Still will not work.. Three Ships per fleet, Hundreds of fleets to different locations, all ships are scouts..)
Upon arriving to locations, the Lead ship of each fleet releases a white flare, signalling for peace.. and proceed to slowly patrol, ignoring Civilians...
Drakador_Chaos
The seeker patiently watches what is happening, ready to follow the pirates once they leave the area.

@Catplayz @boombox
On the other side of the galaxy from the pirate attacks, s large merchant convoy finds itself suddenly yanked out of hyperspace where they had thought they were safe. A single distress call goes out amid the background noise of gunfire and desperate screaming. When the responders arrive, they find an absolute massacre with the crew gutted like animals and tied to the bulkhead of their ship by their entrails. Horrified, they almost miss the message written in blood across the hull.
The Imperium rises.
Drakador_Chaos So umm...
K then. Not the response I expected, but ok then.
LeftHandofGod god damnit, what's this? All the pirate factions are under my control.
