I was thinking we could add some of the listed things here:

Proton Torpedoes: You will need a launcher, a torpedo manufacturing or Storage room. They are slow but pack a big punch . They have slow reloading and can only shoot one way.

Missiles: Again you will need a launching device, A missile storage/manufacturing bay. They shoot rapidly but are significantly weaker than torpedoes. Idk if they should have rotatable turrets.

Drone Crew Controlling Device: I think it'll be handy to have a device to single handily control a vessel, But in order for it to function you need to have like Computer stations to process information on ship. Also for it to move around parts and that it could have like a robotic arm bay that attaches it's self to a wall or something and carries things around.

Machine Gun Weaponry: Opposed to cannons we need more ballistic weapons. A machine gun could MAYBE use different types of ammunition to blow up your enemies with and they are of coursely rapid fire. Depending on the ammo you use, is how they function. Like there could be Armour Piercing rounds or Explosive Tipped ones.. etc..

Plasma and Phasers: Nuff said

Cockpits: Maybe we can have different cockpits for controlling small things like fighters where it is a one man crew, or perhaps a larger controlling center that might operate a larger craft efficiently.

Inflitration and spies: I was thinking that you could make things like spy craft that could cloak, and then sneak into a ship to disable systems, Plant bombs, Hi-jack craft, etc...

That pretty much concludes it. Feel free to post anyone

    I approve of these ideas. Especially the cockpit.
    Perhaps it would be a 1x2 module like the medium thruster. So you could build something like this but smaller and more compact.

          Nukes: Nuff said

          Different types of blocks: Such as for armor sloped/wedged armour that can be rotate to make more slick ships.

          Armor Pieces: I was thinking that you could even add different types of armour. Light Armor, Medium Armor, Heavy Armor, Composite Armor, Powered Armour etc...

          Factions: Still unsure about this one.

          Mining and trading: I think it would make the game a bit more interesting and less repetitive to have more ways or generating money. Like maybe mine out asteroids, or send convoys to trading guilds.

          Missions: Maybe rather than killing them same single ships you might be given a mission to kill a trader convoy or stop a larger fleet for more rewards.. But ehh This idea isn't well thought out

          Multiplayer: Would be cool, but idk how it would work haven't really got into the details.

          Ship boarding: You could have things like security rooms, guards and boarding craft. So basically they just slam into the side of a ship or dock onto it. Then you release soldiers to kill the crew inside the enemy. So you would need to equip guards and soldiers to Attack/defend. Though this might not be implemented.

          Drone Fighter Craft: Nuff said

            Missions and campaings as well i think, since he said there will be different factions.

              "Wedge"-shaped armor is on my list to do very soon.

              Factions, mining, trading, and missions are all planned. Mining (and salvaging enemy ships) I'm planning to do fairly soon. Factions and missions are farther off.

              Multiplayer is a "maybe" and a long ways off if it ever happens. I'd really like to have a mode where each player can create a fleet and fight each other.

              Ship boarding is the #1 most-requested feature! It's definitely planned, but a long ways off.

              Fighter craft: also planned, but still pretty far off

                      If you want i could make you a flag with the Iron cross, just writte how it should look like.

                        Yes the flag with the iron cross would be nice. I would prefer not to have the Swastika as it would spread a bit more offense than it.

                                stuff that would be cool:
                                bases: dock ships onto the station or base, get power resupply from it, different people could attack it, but not all the time. it could be attacked by nonplayer controlled ships.
                                Fleets: I know you have this, but what about naming the whole fleet like username's fleet, and fleets could be used to attack bases.
                                Fighters: see my other post in Fighters and Drones.

                                MrCed2003 some of these things are alredy planed, but good idea!

                                  One thing would be great is to have smaller recon fleets consisting of 4-5 ships, who recon their specific faction's sector. Also it would be great to have some "ship class staircase"system.
                                  For instance:
                                  If specific faction has at least 3 stations present in the sector, Cruiser(and above) class ships may spawn into the sector for defense.
                                  This would enable us to amass large ships into a sector for hire, and thus have a strong fleet for offense, to take over nearby systems.

                                  OH, and something else hit my mind.
                                  I'm not sure about how Shipyards will work, but i do have an image in my head.
                                  They would act like factories, for sure. You can give them resources,or credits ,so they can build ships to hold the sector. The ship built depends on the amount of resources or credits the shipyard posesses. Also, if you have enough credits, you can order the shipyard to build one of your ship designs. These ships will automatically be assigned to your fleet upon completion.
