Drakador_Chaos A carefully timed cycling of the airlock jetisoned the cheap lunch towards the ship. The meat quickly froze over on one side, and was roasted on the other, being exposed to the harsh energy of space. The rapid exchanging of heat energy caused the meat to snap into two parts, which both headed towards different sides of the ship.
The meat that hit the side opposite the sun was snagged by some thorns growing out of the ship. There was no immediate response yet to the bio matter. Meanwhile, the other chunk of meat that broke off hit the sunny side of the ship. Strangely, the meat on this side bounced off. There was clearly plant matter there, but it seemed to lack any sort of strength to it.
You also noticed that the ship was now transmitting a signal. It was a garbled mess, and your ships onboard translation software didn't even register it as a language. The transmission then cut off again.
The ship shaped flower pot was now turning back to where it came from. The FTL drive was spinning up.
