Updated the railgun calculator with a penetration simulator. Here is an example of an 8 accelerator railgun against a shielded standard cannon:

      Now updated for 0.14.5. As an addition you can compare thrusters from 0.14.4 with 0.14.5. It is quite interesting if you like numbers. 😉

            It's been so long I don't remember what I wanted to write. 😆 Most of the other articles already covered some points, though.

              Railgun calculator has now been updated for 0.14.5 RC3. You can switch between 0.14.4 stable and 0.14.5 RC3 unstable right there via drop down menu.

                  Fixed serious bug based on Walt's explanations of the thruster changes during the tournament: Ramp-up times with engine rooms were calculated as 1.75x faster than they really are. Also, some ships that could hit the 600m/s physics engine limit would not display when they reach that speed.

                    Updated for 0.14.7 with the buff for small and nerf of long railguns.

                      2 months later

                      New version for 0.14.10. The railgun calculation changed once again, buffing all railgun lengths and especially long railguns compared to 0.14.7. Compared to 0.14.6 you'll see a small drop for long railguns and a significant improvement for short ones.
