The Cosmoteer Necroposting Defenders (CND)

I am proposing a group of people who are dedictated to stopping people from necroposting. Things include telling people to not necropost, leave dead threads dead, etc. I’ve noticed how people keep bringing up dead threads, and how there are some users here on the forum who help to prohibit necroposting, so it would be much more effective for people to band together and stop The Necroposting Plague. This group will be used in both the roleplay-verse, and the forums. Who’s with me?*

This seems useless. It doesnt happen too often, and I already catched every one of them on the act, and tell them clearly what they do wrong. (Perhaps a bit too harch way, but eh.)

So this post is useless to be honest. It doesnt need an orginization or whatever. I'm already on it with a few occasional others.

the_guy545 Why though? Literally nobody in the staff team cares if someone Necroposts. It's not that big of an issue and it means that any thread that's old is locked away from discussion. Which is honestly just stupid.

yobeefjerky I care. Necros are super annoying because 90% of the time it doesn't add anything meaningful to the discussion and the poster really should have started a new thread.

The only times I feel like necros are useful are when someone finally comes up with a solution to an ancient tech support or modding problem and posts it in the original thread.

They are indeed annoying, but this thread is obselete. The necro’s are already handled as effient as it can. They are adressed, and know they do wrong.

Perhaps be more tough on them and give them a direct warning upon necroposting? (If that doesnt already happen.)

That is completely correct, I didnt think this too much trough. Perhaps because I delt with many necro posters and see them as one person as the threat. I think there is no real solution for this, and just have to confront them every single time and point out what they did wrong so they don't do it anymore, like I always did every time.
