Yeah, this is pretty big. I usually am not very excited by tournaments anymore (realizing I actually suck in multiplayer since Jan + Feb tourneys), but this is something I will definitely watch.

However, I think I will go for Dalas120 for my prediction on Grand Champion.

I'd like to see Walt release the new version before this.

After all, shouldn't the "Grand Champion" be the best at creating a new meta not just exploiting the current one?

Equalizer List of things that are more likely to happen in the next week than Walt releasing the new version:

• Bannerlord release date announced
• Donald Trump resigning as president of the USA and starting his own fast food franchise
• Extra terrestrial contact from aliens who really want to try the Trump-Burger
• Valve announces half-life 3 has actually been in development all this time and is being released NOW
• Firefly gets a second season
• Solution for immortality and space travel discovered at the same time
• The sun explodes
• Elvis Presley found alive and working at a laundromat in Queensland Australia
• I host a tournament without screwing anything up (basically not possible)

Question. Is this going to be an every year event or not? Also Are the newbies allowed to join in this "race"

Oneye I honestly don't understand why people leave me out of the discussion when talking about tournaments.

Just for the record: EVERYTHING regarding tournament, from the format to settings to the date, is decided by me. Walt's involvement with the tournament is mostly limited to casting and giving out the rewards, so if you try to suggest ideas to him he still has to inform me.

There is literally no point in bothering Walt about tournament settings or formats unless you have already talked to me first because even if Walt does receive your idea he still needs to discuss it with me.

So please ping me if you decide to start a discussion about the tournament because I don't check the forums too often and threads (especially ones outside of tech support) I'm very likely to miss.
