New RP: Episode I
3 years after the treaty with EpicJp21
Planetary system: Classified
background: (the blood mongers expand, founding 79 new colonies. however, 31 of these break away from the BM(blood monger) empire, and form the eastern star alliance. the senate is split equally amongst whether or not to declare war on the ESA(eastern star alliance), and emperor Cosmicdestroyer sends envoys to Elaris, capital of the ESA. however, they are overdue by nearly a week. In the secret military base, base 314, Cosmicdestroyer discusses with his second in command what to do when news arrives that the wreckage of the envoy's ships have been found, and that the ESA has declared war on the Blood Mongers.)
"Grand Emperor Cosmicdestroyer, something must be done. the eastern star alliance is now powerful enough to break away from our control, and wage war and destroy us!" High admiral Selugia spoke, the message being warped slightly due to the sheer amount of anti-comms systems in the secret planetary system, which, despite the fact that they were on the same side, still affected them.
"The have not done so, and currently my envoys are on their way to Elaris, capital of the eastern star alliance to negotiate peace." Cosmicdestroyer replied, the message once again blurring on the screen.
"transition flash!" one of the officers yelled in the background, aboard the Nemesis(courtesy of @LeftHandofGod), Admiral Selugia's flagship. Selugia immediately turned to face her sensors officer, and he replied " Its one of ours. its broadcasting a message. here, listen to it."
"This is captain Peirre, aboard the Frigate, 'lion's claw'. I have news from the ESA. They have destroyed the envoy's ships, taken the envoys prisoner, and declared war on us.
Episode II
(background: Ultimis is the planet after which the Ultimatium, flagship of the Blood Fleet is named, and is also the location of many of the scientific labs of the BM. In the meantime, Senate declares war on the ESA, but nobody in the senate is willing to fund an offensive by the Blood Fleet into ESA territory: in fact, more than half of the Blood fleet is just sitting in dock with no crew to fly them, since crews do cost money, and nobody in the senate is willing to sponsor.)
"Why have you brought me here, to Ultimis?" Emperor Cosmicdestroyer asked his close confident John ardenness, who had brought him there.
"You already know of the crisis in the senate. Everyone in there is pressuring everyone to fund an offensive, but everyone is knows that nobody will actually step up. So, I brainstormed, and found a solution. We don't have to fight this war ourself.”
John Ardenness said.
“And how, exactly, do you propose to fight a war without fighting a war?” The Emperor asked.
John beckoned the emperor forward, and the Emperor followed, until the corridor they were travelling in widened into a massive cavernous room that was at least 2 miles wide, 2 miles tall, and 3 miles long.
And, in the middle of the room, taking up most of the space within the room, was a giant thing, obviously organic, and appeared to be some sort of living starship.
“This, Your Majesty, is how we shall fight the ESA: with another species.”
