i'm new in the game (2nd day playing) and i was wondering if there are any plains for make an battle station in an asteroids... something like this

hexal Hello. Maybe you could use this? It's not really an asteroid, but it can be easily to spawn.
I'd really like to do that, yeah.
while they are cool, spawning them in is a massive pain, since you cant spawn a ship overlapping another, which is kind of the whole point of asteroid bases.
yobeefjerky yeah, for this you must put special buildings and weapons in the construction panel of the asteroids.
Also, i was thinking in a gamemode of conquest you can make and deploy an asteroid fortress to defend territory.
I will probably be merging the asteroid parts into regular Terran ships, and just not let you build asteroid parts except in creative mode.
