"We are prepared to transmit designs for our RH series ships, on the condition that we supply the crews. Our Terrors are filled to the brim with cloning bays and megatons of Biomatter."
Another Overlord steps out from behind Harmonious Clarity, surprisingly not wearing a Life Suit. She appears to cough before speaking up.
"We have analyzed the data from the Offensive and have found that the Mak reacted before Effervescent-Blade's plan was enacted, right after he transmitted it. This can only mean they have cracked our communications and can read them, we have operations currently going underway to decode their own intra-hive comms, but require scientists to help in the process, please step up if you wish to assist in this project."

As the ships had docked, before having headed to the hall, they disembarked...
From within, walked five people, three lupidirans and two Tau,
Akio, and someone else wearing a cloak that covers their face...

After reaching the hall, they sat down... They had remained silent as everyone else shouted about the scans.
There they sat, completely silent, although Akio seemed to look a million miles away.

One lupidiran mumbles something about silence as the overlord speaks about communications however.

FangTheCat if we have fleets attacking then retreating constantly it could be possible to give us more time we would lose a fleet when the shield gets put up though

"Shielding a system is possible. Difficult but Possible. perhaps.. perhaps, with your travel capabilities.. we could find the old towers.. from the Remnant's Origin System.. That would save resources.. but may take longer.. Retrieving ancient towers long forgotten is a task.."

FangTheCat its a massive risk but if we could pull it off it would stop the mak from multiplying and if we need to finish them off we could open up a small pocket and let a fleet go though and close it

"The issue is that it shields one star system, not enough to actually protect against the Mak, unless you suggest we try trapping them inside a system, in which case they'd just consume all of the matter in the system and leave via Slipspace."

"Thats the thing.. The shields can't be simply.. reactivated after being opened.. it takes time.. Any shield of that size would be nearly impossible to Instantly reactivate.. Every single tower in the area would have to receive the signal and re-power itself."
The writhing mass has risen from the floor.. taking a shape similar to a Cattus-Sicut or a Remnant Machine..

'Perhaps there are Other solutions..'

well that puts a damper on my plan because if we cant trap them in the system and they break out they would cause many empires to be destroyed

The mass has taken shape, now, metal plates slide across its body, slowly, mechanical pieces take shape, the glimmering piece of technology is radiant.. it walks around slowly, the remaining fleshy appendages slowly shrink.
