Alpha After what seems to be 4 hours, Sokeyr, having a nice grog in the bar, is woken up by his timer on his communicator.
Sokeyr gets up from his seat, leaves 150 credits on the counter as an extremely beefy payment, and heads back to the arena to see if anyone was still there. Upon entering, only one orc was still in the arena...
"Are you done with your tasks? If you are, you were supposed to be in your quarters getting sleep."
The orc looked terrified and began walking backwards. "No... no-I... I didn't finish the last one..."
"Ah, I see. I cannot be having slackers in my legion of death, and that is what you are. What is your name?"
Um... it's uh, Kort.
"Well then, Kort. Listen to this, one more time and your out. This is the easiest task I will ever give you, so you better start getting better. Now, leave."
"Ye, ye-yes sir. I'll leave." And with that, Kort began speed walking towards the exit.
On the way out, Sokeyr realized that if he couldn't pass the first test, he would never make it further. He pulled out a small fire pistol, fire he collected from the abyss. He aimed it at Kort's head, but was reluctant. Kort didn't even know that Sokeyr had a gun at his head, he was too busy trying to leave. Then Sokeyr pulled the trigger, and Kort fell to the ground. Sokeyr went over to the body and completely burned everything, including the bones.
"Now, no more slackers. I'm sure my superiors won't know the difference of one missing orc, and their superiors won't know the difference of two." Sokeyr said softly to himself.
And with that, Sokeyr got up and headed to his Quarters.
