Your sensors detect a large, natural wormhole over the uninhabited Terran planet planet S6-4345-A. It is not directly harming anything, but it seems it only opened recently, a rare event. It would help advance science to study it or see what is on the other side. (This is to introduce a new, unique faction that you will not expect to find)
Amazing_Goob S6-4345-A.
for some reason that code reminds me of the planet in subnautica....
Amazing_Goob (I feel you a little lonely there, so ...)
A ship from the GT Republic appears.
Gladiaxa (Sorry was busy over halloween) The wormhole (Or at least you think it's a wormhole) Is quite a large gaping thing; it reminds you of a mouth. The current level of your sensors can't pierce, but if you devote more power to them It'll probably work.
Dumb (ah, first news, we will be able to meet leviathans and all ...)
Amazing_Goob The necessary power is given.
Gladiaxa (Quick question; from which part of the ship do you divert it from?)
Amazing_Goob (the rear generators)
Gladiaxa (Alright) On the other side of the wormhole, you detect multiple life signatures, approaching the wormhole itself.
Amazing_Goob Well, we have vortex technology, so it should be good. Bring us in!
Gladiaxa As you go in to the wormhole... you instantly get shoved out by what appears to be a large space beast.
Amazing_Goob But what ...? Wonderful, take a picture Lieutenant, we have discovered a new intelligent species! Do we receive something from this one?
Gladiaxa (What made you think it is intelligent?) The beast looks annoyed that you got in it's way, but continues on. Soon, More come out of the wormhole, with what appears to be babies. It is soon very evident that they travel in large herds. The enormous herd, hundreds strong, has completely exited the wormhole. Wait, what are those ships behind it? They are emitting a slightly annoying sound that the animals don't seem to like. /Transmission start/ In a southern accent: "Well howdy there! Do you know where in tarnation we are? Oh, And you better get the heck outta there before the herd runs you right over." /Transmission end/ Whoever he his, he's true. The herd is barreling towards you at suprising speed. And you'll need to repower those back engines to get "Outta" there.
Amazing_Goob The GT ships dodge the flock quite quickly, then the commander-in-chief of the operation asks: And what is a herd of what?
Gladiaxa /Transmission start/ The same person: "Eh, we just call em' space cows, There's probably a more science-y name, but I personally don't know it. Huh...? Well, it seems like they are about to get out of here... where ever this is." /Transmission end/ It seems like the "space cows" have some sort of inter-system travel. They are leaving in three groups it seems, to all different systems.
Amazing_Goob GT ships study "the cow" with state-of-the-art sensors.
Why do all my events seem too short?
A gold cloud appears and exits strange ships that are TTE built. they avoid the space creatures. The two back ships begin to move to opposite sides of the wormhole, the back of them begin to move and connect to one another making a circle around the wormhole, large amounts of emerge can be detected being emitted from the newly created ring.
Jared They detect the wormhole growing more unstable, not dangerously but the energy levels is quickly rising.
Amazing_Goob The ring begins to absorb some of the leaking energy to stabilize the wormhole (TTE have used and created wormholes many times before) they soon send a small drone through the wormhole attached to a cored that partially in real space partially in the gold gas, it takes pictures of the other side.
Gladiaxa It seems like a completely ordinary space beast, though there are glands that excrete a small amount of unknown substance. The use of this substance is unknown.
Amazing_Goob The commander goes back to the farmer: And what do the glands of these animals produce?
