Valkyrie Corporation
"Stronger Together"
Valkyrie Corporation, better known as just Valkyrie, is a Private Military Contractor, (PMC) for short, widely known throughout Central Cosmoteer Galaxy for its very innovative technology. Founded by @the_guy545, it was handed control over to Jamoke D. Sanderson, who is currently the new CEO of Valkyrie. They are rivals with Obeliska Incorporated, but Valkyrie is always one step ahead. The VF-1 Valkyrie is the flagship model of Valkyrie. Originally taken from blueprints from one of the most innovative designers in the Cosmoteer Galaxy known as @Kroom, it was soon adopted for Valkyrie use. The Valkyries were designed in great secrecy under the "Valkyrie Fighter Program", or known as the "VPF" for short, and to avoid corporate espionage. They are now a common site around Eros 5, the homeplanet of Valkyrie's main headquarters.
Valkyrie is always designing and innovating when it sees best, and as it is a Private Military Contractor, if given the right price, you may purchase their vehicles and use them for your own. As long as you credit them, of course. They also have all very high levels of security access, and they are able to access things most normal citizens wouldn't be able to see. But, it's all just top-secret stuff. No big deal.
Oh, and fun fact, all Valkyrie vehicles start with the letter "V", which stands for, you guessed it, "Valkyrie".

The Valkyrie Fighter Program (VFP)

VF-1S Valkyrie
The standard Valkyrie fighter, as the "S" stands for "Standard", it is one of the more weaker fighters of the Valkyrie Fighter Program, but it still is an effective fighter on its own. All Valkyrie Fighters are recommended to be used in squadrons to maximize efficiency, as tests have shown that they are Stronger Together than alone.

VF-1SI Valkyrie
The "I" stands for "Improved", and this model is a very big improvement over the VF-S. It comes with "overchargers" that increase the thrust of the engines, making better suited to a sort of interceptor role, but it's main role is as a fighter.

VF-1V Valkyrie
Popularized by VF-1V pilots as the "Vindicator" due to the "V" in the name (Valkyrie's designers actually forgot what the "V" stood for, so they just rolled with it), this variant includes four plasma lasers, giving an even bigger punch. Due to that, more power was needed, but it makes do with it.

VF-1H Valkyrie
One of the more odd fighters of the VFP, the VF-1H has four plasma lasers like the Vindicator, and two missile launchers instead of one. But the most striking feature of the VF-1H is the two abnormally large engines strapped on to the rear. They were originally meant for commercial spaceliners, but they were considered defective, so our engineers saved them from the scrap yard and repurposed them. The VF-1H is designed for fast, one-strike interceptions. It goes in, and gets the heck out. If the defective engines don't explode before that, of course.

VF-1R Valkyrie
The VF-1R was our first venture from the standard configuration, and into an interesting canard design. It was designed under the "Valkyrie Support Fighter Program", or "VSFP" for short. It is meant for heavier fighter support, as this is armed with two missile launchers. It still packs a punch with its four blasters, so it is able to defend and offend enemies. Offend, as in kill them, not offend their feelings.

VF-1T Valkyrie
This variant of the VSFP comes equipped with four missile launchers instead of two. This replaces two of the offensive lasers, but it makes up for it with its increased destructive power. This variant is best suited when taking down slightly more heavily armored targets, but like stated earlier, all ships and people are Stronger Togther.

VF-1U Valkyrie
One of the more powerful of the VSFP's fighters, this Valkyrie comes equipped with two torpedo launchers, able to take on even the most toughest of baddies. It also comes with four blasters, so it can defend itself adequately.
The Valkyrie Emergency Fighter Program (VEFP)
The "Valkyrie Emergency Fighter Program", "VEFP" for short, was formed when Valkyrie was borderline near to bankruptcy. It was mainly due to the massive amounts of coffee being spent on for the employees...but nonetheless, the name had a double meaning: one, that it was in dire need of something to help gain money back, and two, in case all else fails, these fighters are meant to use as minimal materials as possible, intercept the enemy very quickly, and return back safely just as fast. Plus, they're the cheapest fighters Valkyrie has so far. Luckily, Valkyrie recovered from bankruptcy by lowering coffee spending for the employees, and many of the VEFP fighters are in storage, just in case all else does fail.

VF-5A Raytheon
Referred to as the "Manta Ray" by many who worked on it due to its shape, the Raytheon comes equipped with two blasters and one missile launcher, to intercept incoming enemy ships. All VEFP fighters have a small fuel load, but the Raytheon has one of the more "larger" fuel capacities for its size.

VF-5B Raytheon
The only variant of the Raytheon, it comes equipped with the same armament, only that it has two ion engines instead of one. It has the same fuel capacity as the VF-5A, so it uses more fuel, but it makes up for that with its engines, which allows it to get into action faster.

V-163 Red Wind
The Red Wind is the most smallest fighter that came out of the VEFP. It comes with the exact same loadout as the Raytheon, the only difference being it's shape and fuel capacity. It has the lowest out of all of the VEFP fighters, but is one of the most fastest out of all of them.

V-164 Red Blaze
Though it may look similar in shape to the Red Wind, they are not related, as they were made by two seperate teams working against each other on the VEFP. The ones that designed the Red Wind was made headed by Dr. John Spron, and the one that designed the Red Blaze was headed by Dr. Muke Duke, college buddies that became bitter rivals over this one girl named Kyra. They joined Valkyrie hoping to impress her, but in the end, neither got the girl. She married this dude over at Obeliska, Valkyries' rival. So they got over their differences, and made ammends. A happy ending indeed! Oh the ship? What about the ship- oh yeah. It comes with two engines instead of one, and the same armament as the Red Wind. Both designs were accepted by Valkyrie, and 50 of each types were made.
The Valkyrie Starflux Program (VSP)
The "Valkyrie Starflux Program", "VSP" for short, was created out of a need to create a ship that could be used in a bomber role, and work in squadrons to take down targets, while able to defend themselves. So the Starflux bomber was designed, along with its variants.

VB-117A Starflux
The first of the VSP, the "B" standing for "Bomber", the VB-117A variant is heavily armed, with six torpedoes in its bomb bay. Or is it the torpedo bay since it has torpedoes? It also comes equipped with shields and defense turrets to aid it in keeping the crew alive.

VB-117B Starflux
The B variant of the VSP bombers comes equipped with nine missile launchers, which pack less punch, but make up for its large amount of them. It has the same armament as the VB-117A variant.

VB-117C Starflux
This variant is most interesting indeed. Instead of carrying weapons, it has a large roof cannon in place of the bomb bay (or torpedo bay). This variant was built with the intention of large ship hunting, as its large cannon shell is able to pierce most shields, and deal more damage than laser blasts. It has a fairly long reload rate, so it would be recommended to have fighter support. But not with just this variant, but with all of the Starflux's.
Stronger Together, duh!

VB-117D Starflux
The VB-117D isn't a bomber whatsoever - it's an AWACS, and Airbone Warning And Control System. It's designed to perform commands and retain control of the battlespace, to help aid ships in battle. The sensor also helps to detect ships and alert friendlies that they have a hole in their left wing!

VB-117E Starflux
The Starflux chassis has proved itself to be a very modifiable design, as this one proves just that. The E variant, the last of the Starflux's, is perhaps one of the most unique designs among Valkyrie, as it comes equipped with a high powered railgun, which propels a projectile at near light speeds to pierce even the densest of materials.
The Valkyrie Transport Program (VTTP)
The "Valkyrie Transport Program", or "VTP" for short, is a program by Valkyrie designed to create an effective means of transporting their troops on the battle. Mercenaries would be a better word, but they are troops nonetheless. These also function as regular cargo transports, such as ammunition or ground vehicles small enough to fit inside, like the Valkyrie VH-Z30 Hoverbikes, or VSC-49 Scout Cars.

VT-22A Cheyenne
The VT-22A Cheyenne, "T" for "Transport", is the first of three designs coming out of the VTP. This first variant is heavily shielded, but only comes equipped with one blaster, as it is meant to have constant fighter escort. It can hold a large amount of troops, 30 to be in fact, enough to make a full on assault if needed.

VT-22B Cheyenne
The B variant is slightly bigger, and carries the same amount of troops, as the only difference from the VT-22A being that it has four ion engines instead of two, enabling it to go into the heat of battle faster, either to drop troops, or get them the heck out of there.

VT-22C Cheyenne
The final variant of the Valkyrie Transport Program, the VT-22C Variant is the largest of the three. It is literally just two VT-22B's stuck together, as they have the same engines, but they carry twice as many troops, 60 troops, actually. Since it is so big, it has side laser turrets to help protect its weak sides, and more shielding to protect the precious cargo inside, whatever it may be.
The Valkyrie Typhoon Program (VTP)
This program was designed out of a need to create a large ship which could act as a carrier ship, and a battleship. Out of it came this the VBC-1 Typhoon, "BC" standing for "Battlecruiser". It is very large, with enough crew to count for as a small city. It carries two smaller fighters known as the VTF-5 Wasp, "TF" standing for "Typhoon Fighter", which act like just like the aptly named creature - small, fast, and able to be destroyed very easily. It still packs a sting, though only a small one. The other one is the VTC-20 Brusque, "TC" standing for "Typhoon Cruiser". If you want to pronounce the word "Brusque", you say it as "brusk". It offers some support to help the Typhoon, but not as much as the Typhoon, which is armed to the teeth with weaponry.

Other Valkyrie Ships and Whatnot
These ships are under this category as there is only one of its kind, so it does not have enough ships to create a category of its own. It's a little bit sad if you think about it. The only one of your kind, with no one else to call a friend or family. Feels bad man.

VS-5 Watchman
The "S" stands for "Satellite", and this thing does its job very well. Cheap and easy to produce, the VS-5 Watchman is placed in many places across the Cosmoteer Galaxy by Valkyrie, keeping an eye on things that they might not want you to see...

VC-450 Mandrake
A large cargo ship, it has a single turret for self defense, but multiple shields to protect what ever might be inside of those large cargo containers. There's starting to be some Raiders of the Lost Ark vibe here...

VHF-50 Resonance
This Heavy Fighter, as the "HF" stands for, is a newer design by Valkyrie, and as the name implies, it's a heavy fighter with some maneuverability, but lots of firepower, with four laser blasters, and four missile launchers. It's also very fast surprisingly.

VDS-5 Pit Stop
The VDS-5 Pit Stop, the "DS" standing for...actually we forgot. Maybe it stands for "Dining Station"? "Death Star"? Oh, I know! "Dirty Socks"! Either way, as the name implies, it's a "Pit Stop" for Valkyrie ships or any allied ships to stop and repair, or relax before their next mission. Perhaps even clean out their Dirty Socks while they're at it.
And that concludes our long lineage of Valkyrie ships! We hope you consider in purchasing our ships, or hiring us to help do your dirty work!
