Started out as this guy, before we had huge thrusters and engine rooms.

It worked then because I use them in multiples of 3 and it was a great flanker for the era. Now though it's pretty mediocre and I'm having a hard time making it substantially better. Plus aesthetics have definitely suffered in the attempt.

Tried to make it an allrounder (as that's the best choice for fighting unknown ships) but had to increase it's cost by roughly 500.000. Won against the original every time. (Despite the ai screwing up way too much...)

Note this is a test ship so armor dosen't exist and its main purpose its to extract every last bit of firepower from its weapons. (And if you ask to use it you cannot because this is a faction ship)

bluurgh It can, but one reactor per booster is what it takes for infinite boost. Thanks, I'll have to check this out more closely when I get off work.

Guy Aha! But I also removed some crew from the back engine room, so the extra reactor might remain unused.

I did have to add a pair of crew back to that compartment, plus do a couple other small things, but this seems to work really well.

mystery_player So i have been building this bad boy, super fun, but in the end i made super weapon wich kills whole star systems with lag..

Some small changes reduced lag by a whole lot and makes it much more playable. less splitting tho :p
