The New Hegemony, despite what some inferior governments believe, has become an emergent superpower in it's 3 years of existence. Having taken a large amount of space, it has been stripping the billion or so star systems in it's space to supply their massive infrastructure with raw material.
One of these elements of it's massive infrastructure is the Shipyard Systems, entire star systems filled with billions of defensive stations and stardocks filling the expansive void between planets. The planets themselves surrounded by massive megastructures that appear more like huge shells consisting of millions of shipyards each. Massive fleets of RH series vessels surround these worlds as they churn out thousands of RH and core vessels daily. The planets beneath these shells of Hypercomposite stripped of resources and used as anchors.
Then you get the defensive systems...
Have you heard of the Cykor attack on System 18, it's not a story that the NH would tell you.
It all began when the Cykor sent a fleet of almost 14,350 Warships into Shipyard System 18, ten seconds later those Cykor ships no longer exist after almost 8 million Entropy Torpedoes were launched.
It's a proven fact that assaulting one of these worlds is a suicidal action, not even the Ascendancy could take one out during the Origin Conflict. (The battle of Neu-229 will be discussed later)
If just one of these worlds were to fall, the NH's Navy would likely be crippled for months on end.
