Unfortunately for the collective, their FTL interdictors bought from Tiark co are very primitive in design, and are prone to failiures.
And aboard the ship currently acting as a FTL interdiction wall for the dreadnought's predicted course, their jammer goes offline.
Multiple interdictors prepare their Eho-cruise drives to fill the gap, but there is now more than enough time for most of the forces in the area to escape.
Projected losses are around 10% of the fleet, mainly consisting of larger ships with slow charging FTL.
Any forces within the field once the breach closes again will have to fend for themselves, predicted chance of combat survival after this is less than 1%.
The unexplained agression shown by the Lupidira is odd, and should be investigated further once the conflict is over.
Their ships are now advancing towards the dreadnought, coming into range of smaller cannons in a desperate bid to stop it from exiting the system.
