Since i can, i thought id explain the mechanics of this faction's expansion for a moment.
Turns
Due to a strange spacial anomaly, time here seems to be quicker...
Turns are half a real day, and allow for certain actions to be carried out.
Such as ship construction, or construction of something in space, like an outpost or mining station.
Ship construction:
Ship's construction times are dependent on current tech, and on how big the ship is.
for example, a 200m long cruiser takes one shipyard slot, and takes one turn to complete.
Width also counts against it.
Note: i know one ship per slot every 12 hours seems OP, but then i point you to look in the direction of every other faction ever, and you will see why i set it to this.
base construction:
Each turn 25% of all space construction completes.
in 4 turns (2 days) a outpost or mining base is finished.
however upgrades take longer.
resources:
Resources will be largely ignored as construction material since it will put this faction at a huge disadvantage to everything else, but will be used for trade.
The time between turns, and other aspects of this are likeley to change.
Turn time is only this short to stop it from getting boring.
