A Giant energy surge is detected from orbit of the planet's moon.
This is quickly followed by a flash of light even visible from the planet's surface...
A small escort fleet, and a giant unfinished ship exit Echo-Jump, ignoring any interdictors entirely due to how Echo jump works.

"This is the TXI Horizon, An Eleventh hour class megaship.
Please do not interfere with our operations, any attempt to get within 2ls of this ship will be marked as hostile."
//Open Transmission End//
The ship itself is in a state of disrepair.
Or more accurately, is unfinished. Large amounts of its structure remain unpainted, with some of its internals still exposed.
The ship has no shielding online, however being so big its unlikeley anything could destroy it before it could escape.
Scanning reveals a large civillian population aboard the ship, likeley the families of the crew.
Small engineering shuttles begin to emerge from the ship's various hangar bays, all ready to continue working on the huge vessel.
Although huge, its unlikeley the ship could severely damage any other fleet here, half its weapons still being fitted.
Meanwhile, aboard the TXI Horizon's operation planning deck:
"Alright, so you are telling me this place has some... 'information', we might like to take a look at?"
"Yes, Its an old UG research facility.
Someone or something set off a distress beacon there, so protocol states we mustn't-"
"Not just protocol! Morals! what if YOU needed help and the first thing someone did was shoot you?"
"Pah, whatever. Regardless we have to go in without destroying it.
So, we need an away team to lead the way, can't just do it with huge drones due to the collateral damage."
"Fine, ill greenlight it for you, just don't injure any of my crew. Got it?"

A orion class light LMPS and six shuttles, along with two Single rotor gunships, exit the main Hangar bay.
Each fully loaded, the shuttles each carrying six troops, and the rotor craft carrying two vehicles each.
They quickly engage in system FTL, before attempting to land near the research facility, around 5 miles out on the ground.
The orion class stays in orbit, and does a scan to see what type of planet this is, and to detect any threats on the planned route towards the old facility.
