As most people know, a longer railgun shoots further, until a certain point where the range becomes constant.
This works as intended with small and railguns that get slightly larger.
But when extending your railgun (by a lot), at some point some point the railgun's range becomes more random, and most of the time even smaller than the range of a small railgun. I am measuring this from where the shot leaves the gun.

This bug makes enormous railguns completely useless. If you wish to test it yourselves: here are the ships I used:
