Two ships jump in on detachable FTL drives, they approach the station curiously
Scav: "SCOOT, We just hit the galactic JACKPOT Pally!"
Pally: "Well that sure is... a lot of stuff"
Scav: "Now we just gotta work out how to salvage it... maybe if we dock to one o' them monstrosities we could power the drives again?"
Pally: "I reckon is poss, let's hoop over then."

The two ships fire their thrusters and manouvre over to one of the two medium sized ships, attempting to find a point of entry.

Tson They fly through a sea of durasteel and asteroids. As they fly towards a destroyer, they notice the ship is completely powerless. They find a maintenance hatch open.

A Fleryg boarding squad jump out of an opened airlock, reaching the outer hull of the research base. They begin to use disruptor based hull cutters to remove a sample of the metal. Scans do not return the presence of the Fleryg, clearly they are cloaked in some form.
