tried it and reinstalled .net as the application told me to do and it still gives me the same error message

Unfortunately I'm all out of ideas. 🙁 If you're desparate, you could try asking Microsoft support or posting on their support forum.
so sad i even reinstalled the entire game and it still says the same thing

If you're on windows 10 make sure you have the latest update. If you do then you might need to find a way to uninstall and then reinstall .net (or see if you can repair your installation).

TrainMasterTMH I'm not too sure about how .Net updates are handled in 8.1 I'm afraid. I know since windows 8 .NET updates no longer show up in the control panel though, so you'll need to look up how to uninstall .NET
well thanks anyways but im still having the same problem
walt i have something to report. i downloaded an older version of cosmoteer version 0.12.11 to be exact and it works so the problem might be with the version just so you know.
TrainMasterTMH I have no idea why 0.12.11 would work but newer versions don't. Cosmoteer has been using .NET 4.6.2 since 0.11.3. I guess try the latest version again, just to make sure.
did still not working but i will keep trying in the name of cosmoteer and science
and I know this is asking a lot just for Lil ol me but if anyone else would like to suggest something, in the name of science go right ahead
