Northerner Yeah I think some people were too focused on the "need to function well in bounty hunter" part they forgot this was a design contest.

Just because a ship functions well doesn't mean it's a good fit for BH. It needs to look nice too

IVIemories not that my submission functioned well by my standards 😂 but yes there were a lot of ships submitted that were pure function.

IVIemories I hope that another one of these events happen around New Years, and we have to make ship that is reminiscent of a animal. Or maybe a ship that uses a certain few weapons. Idk.

IVIemories I tried designing a ship unlike all the others I have made because I didn't want make something I made before. But it seems I am just not good at designing ships

culanns_hound It's not that you're not good at designing ships, it might just be that your way of designing ships wasn't the one that stood out the most from the others.

You just need to have some faith in yourself. Don't beat yourself up because you didn't get through 🙂

newb12_ Well, before I got my laptop (I had to, I was always losing time because my pc took 10 minutes to fully start up when there were no updates), my pc was so slow it lagged the terror on 1/4 speed. It truly was what I would call an ancient potato. On my laptop I have designed ships three times the cost of the biggest ship I made on my pc, trying such a thing on my pc would have crashed cosmoteer while designing the ship.
