Lol_nl The feedback when translating to German was somehow more satisfying. I got less replies, but a least none of them said "uh thanks I guess, but English all the way for me". And when I read "Unbenannter Spieler" in multiplayer I know someone silently appreciates my work. 😉 A translation takes a lot of time and I hope you still have the drive to finish it. For future updates I'd advise to use some visual diff tool like WinMerge. These show you which lines changed in a text file (and which parts of the lines).
I think maybe Netherlands got so used to either no translation or bad translations of games and movies that it became part of culture to look down on translations whereas in Germany people generally expect there to be a quality translation. That has of course to do with number of speakers and cost of production vs sales, but it is intriguing how it seems to have an effect on the appreciation of voluntary work on a free-2-play game.
