Ive been wondering due to the fact that I want to post ships but dont want to go through the hassle of closing cosmoteer opening this is there a way to make it so your cursor can move freely across to the other monitor

Settings -> Misc -> Trap Mouse Cursor
You can also just alt-tab instead of closing Cosmoteer entirely.
