Soooo, suddenly this new faction appears and rules the whole cosmoteer galaxy?... Without backstory, or anything...?

That doesnt seem logical to me. Perhaps add a backstory! And not instantly rule the galaxy

He said The Cosmoteer galaxies, so assuming he meant all, he would rule over one million light years of territory, with hundreds of trillions of stars under his banner.

I havent seen those, the only really powerful factions like the Bloodcult, who controls a big part of the galaxy, did it over time, slowly. Since it excists for a long long time now.

They both rule over forty universes.
