Hood(tier 9: 2,021,150 credits)
The primary strength of the Hood is that it stands up better to fleets than other tier 9s. It also has boatloads of point defense to stand up to make using missile kites an exercise in frustration. The armor is on the thin side, though (it is a battlecruiser) especially around the turrets (it is an English battlecruiser). Shield overlap is haphazard making it vulnerable to mid-size railguns and the gaps in the armor make it vulnerable to cannons supported by electrobolts. As a broadsider it can also be brute forced by an equal cost wall.
