Wouldn't it be useful to be able to play an endless bounty hunt, not needing to end because you cleared every vanguard level. Similiar ideas have probably been suggested, most of them rejected or ignored. But let me show you my proposal.
Main reasons why an infinite bounty hunter is not a good idea:
-A lot of memory would go into the save of this infinite map, and it would create lots of lag on older computers.
The solution:
Do not add a ever-growing map, add a special 'sector' which leads to a new fresh map, the old one being deleted (going back to the previous map is not possible) on travel. Your ships and money remain, but every sector has been changed. New planets, different sector locations, ...
The only extra lag would be when generating the new map. Memory issues are no longer there, even the small maps are infinite now. This will result in a better, longer lasting bounty hunt experience, without becoming worse on older (and probably slower) computers.
What do you guys think?
