Will it work? The Reactor should add ammo directly to the Battery while running the game. Not just copy the data.
And another question:
Can the Engine (on current state) by the scripts calculate while running the game amount of reactors / batteries and, depends on finals, change variables of BatteryStorage and PowerCreating?
Ex:
Batteries: 5 BufferEnergyOfShip = 1000 x 5
Reactors: 3 EnergyGeneratesPerSecond = 100 x 3 (If a Battery / Reactor was destroyed, then coefficient change depens on amount of parts)
