it launches decoys for multiplayer, RP or even bounty hunter. (one strategy i see is dropping them in say vanguard since they cost about 32,000 to make you could wait for a large ship to destroy it and see what it is, then counter it, or just launch decoy at it)

Or you could use my vessel launcher, instead of using ions it uses a single push of railguns and the can be steered, i also made a ship that includes there, they use deco mod though so it's not exactly vanilla
