  • CosmoSide [Added Mining!](Great Conglomerate's Faction Mod) [0.14.4]

Mod made for my faction inspired partially by game Planetside 2. Adds upgradable power source and shield, one weapon divided into three categories, cosmetic crew quarters and structural pieces.

New way to get money in Bounty Hunter - Mining! You can mine asteroids and refine what you got to sell it at traiding stations for income!

Refine Ore into more valuable and space saving resources:

After filling up get to the Trading Station to sell what you got:

Remember to have a Trade Command and get close to the stations:

Some parts that mod contains:

  • Capacitor Chargers - "Safe way to take energey out of ship's power grid (Unless you stick your hand inside). Charges capacitors at 1/4 rate of Thermonuclear Reactor's recharge rate. Gains extra bonus recharge if close to reactor."

  • Force Field Shield - "Force field generator creating bubble around your ship. Uses capacitors. Can be modified with upgrades(Soon)"

  • Thermonuclear Reactor - "Thermonuclear Reactor can charge capacitors, it also outputs part of power to ship's power grid allowing for use of Capacitor Chargers."

  • Dalton Cannon - "Low rotation, moderate velocity, cannon utilizing Nanites Containers to print bullets directly inside fire chamber." (AP, HE, HESH versions)

  • Nanites Fabricator - "Small Nanites Fabricator. Produces nanites to supply wepons with Universal ammunition and missles. May be nessesary for some vital utility parts to work."

  • Nanites Rack - "Small nanites storagte."

  • Crew Bunkc - "Quarters that can hold 2 crew and their belongings."

  • Crew Quarters - "Quarters that can hold 4 crew and their belongings."

  • FireExtinguisherPrinterDesc - "Printer that rapidly produces Fire Extinguishers. Can hold nanites for 7 extinguishers."

  • Corridor 1 and 2 , Stairs

  • Dedicated Reactor - "Reactor that outputs power directly to adjacent Force Field Shield. Attached to Thermonuclear Reactor increases containment shield's strength."

  • Dedicated Capacitor Storage - "Storage that outputs power directly to adjacent module accepting it: Force Field Shield."

  • Frequency Manipulator - "Increases the shield's radius and anti-shield weapons penetration resistance at cost of energery consumption. Attached to Thermonuclear Reactor unlocks 2x2 Capacitor Chargers"

  • Overclock Upgrade - "Greatly increases Force Field Shield's and Thermal Reactor's strength but overheats with each shot absorbed. Requires nanites to continuously repair overloaded cables. Without nanites machine will overheat really fast."

  • One Way Force Field - "Force Field that lets you go through in only one way"

  • 2x2 Capacitor Charger - "Safe way to take energey out of ship's power grid (Unless you stick your hand inside). Charges capacitors at 1/2 rate of Thermonuclear Reactor's recharge rate. Gains extra bonus recharge if close to reactor.Requires Frequency Manipulator upgrade attached to reactor."

      NOnameeee Link have been added. Making one of the pieces took a lot of time today and I've been so tired that I havent noticed the link missing.

        I've tried out the mod and its not in any way like Automation...

          Bevan I just started to check out how it works and after positive feedback after making one part I decided to continue. Colors are partially inspired by Planetside 2 Nanites Systems.

          RedAndCosmoteer as Boiled_Cabbage said It's not like automation beacuse I dont want it to be like automation Chargers are here to make the reactor more special. I want this mod to have crew as one of the most important parts that's one of many things that's why most of parts wont automatically power, ressuply and fire (there will be few exceptions).

            AWESOME mod looks absulitly new but its also too little of items i suggest you work on internals of a ship it seems you are suited for that type of mod building.

            anyway thats just me its ur mod not mine so hf.

            Will this mod ever is compatible with 0.14.4.

              Dano-Duncan 0.14.4 shouldn't have broken any mods

                    Dano-Duncan I will fix it in new update wich should come in few days biringing some new parts.

                    jotech I'm working on that I will add some weapon related parts.

                    Development will be slow due to that I have also a lot of shool work. Most updates should be durning weekends.

                      LukaszLutek add more of the generator and shield parts with that wire it looks really cool and you can make cool engine rooms with clever placement also when you finish with this mod think you can try a star blazers mod since i think you whould be able to do it

                        kola2134 More reactor and shield parts are planned I have them on paper but it will take time before I make it into cosmoteer. Finishing mod will take a lot of time, I'm not sure when or if I would be able to make star blazers mod.

                              LukaszLutek this is cool, could you make corridors that fit with the theme?

                                kieffer5101 I'm planning to make next update about utilities so corridors can be expected.
                                I was thinking about that for a while but didnt know if they would be necessary. But now I'm defenietlly going to add them.
