This time,the words were audible,spoken with the Adept's own beak. The sound was harsh,gutteral,and punctuated with avian sounds... And in the Adept's own native tongue.

Riddle78 The Core-AI froze, in its haste it had forgotten that the Unity was heading the event. Embarrased, it slowly began shifting to the other side of the arena. "As you wish..."

The Core-AI went to work, gesturing wildly as parts of the digitized box suddenly detach and disappear. Portal-Hexagon produces a floating screen and taps a few sides of it. Multiple symbols and text in Hexidecimal appear and calculate things. The Core-AI then looks up and nods to the duelists.

The bell rings out loudly, signalling the start of the duel.

Lyov pulls his weapon from his belt and begins to move diagonally foward and left, somewhat normal walking paced, facing Lance.

"Lets dance, crossbred"

Brank Two other Core-AI - Zero-Quad and Window-Null - exit the portal and take positions within the stands. As the portal closes, Window-Null stares momentarily at the also Explorer-Class Emperor-Lance.

Calm yourself. The Unity may dislike us, but they can tolerate us if we do not cause trouble.

He Jumps out of nowhere and Claws at Lyov, appearing infront of him quickly after, becoming Altean again and Punching him Square in the face, pulling his Katana Back out, Running Towards him.

With his balance regained, he runs foward at incredible speed, even for a Tau, Sword at the ready to slice at Lance with the blunt end to damage his armour.

(should the situation present itself, Lyov will bite Lance with his very sharp teeth, common among all Tau. but of course only if he is very close, in a kind of stalemate of sorts)

Adept Kairos let his hands drop from the hilts of his still-sheathed daggers,and observed the duel with curiosity and interest. His head twitched and cocked this way and that,making the odd avian noise.

Lyov was unprepared for the surprise, and was sent backward. However, he JUST managed to avoid a harmful blow from Lance's Katana.

Lyov charges forward and swings as hard as he could with the broad end of his sword, Lance activates a hardlight shield in response. The sword is actually swung AROUND the shield, and smacks the apparatus on the armor used to project the shield, momentarily disabling it in an electric shock as the apparatus caves in. Lyov's predatory instincts kicks in as he sees an advantage. (+1)

Lance pops off the blade of his Katana and reveals a liquid-like plasma substance that is colored blood red. He slides parallel to Lyov and slices at his leg, shooting out a wave of plasma as he does so. Lyov, already seeing the maneuver Lance is trying to pull, dashes to the other side and extends his leg as he does so. He ends up being faster than lance, who topples and lands dangerously near the splashed plasma he swung.

Seeing the momentum Lyov has gained, the crowd that supports him begin clapping.

Lyov rushes Lance, using lance's sudden lack of armour to his sword's sharp edge's advantage
He aims straight at his chest, litterally launching himself at the now slower target, although in doing so making himself vunerable.

As Lance transforms, Lyov cackles in a cocky manner. He rushes at the oversized bear and leaps towards the chest... the bear just slaps him down with a well-placed claw strike. Pieces of Lyov's armor clatter to the ground while he was mid-air, and he lands a few feet away from Lance's new form. The crowd immediately stops clapping, and a few even gasp and murmur. (Lyov went from +1 to -3)

@Brank You don't have to turn into lizard if you don't want to.
