Any Zerg which come into contact with the Stasis fields Die or are mortally wounded, others are fired upon with stasis cannons and killed, the heavy shells horribly rupturing them, they do manage however to take out three EL light cruisers and over 200 support ships such as bombers before being wiped out, suddenly the Volleys fired by both fleets connect, frontline EL and Solaric ships of all sizes explode in billowing balls of plasma, then the two fleets are among each other, ships the size of moons dodging and weaving like fighters, Solaric heavy cannons, tractor, pressor and rattler beams find their targets, but so do the EL stasis shells and particle fusion beams do also, several Nicodemus pilots are not up to the task of this high speed dance, and their cruisers impact on others, friend or foe alike death blossoms in the heat of the battle like a flower on a sunny day,
then the two lines of ships are past each other, the Solaric fleet wheels round, and the EL scout fleet rushes onwards toward the Flare Corp main battle line.
Meanwhile the SE ships are in trouble, as EL ships pour destruction onto the diminished fleet, they are hopelessly outgunned, then someone shouts over the comm.
Retreat to the main battle line, it's our only chance!
The SE engines flare, and the ships turn and rocket toward the main defensive line
