Advanced "point shield" systems activate on the TWE ships in the system, the small outer region system being somehow well defended considering its unimportance.

(well, as you may have noticed, that doesn't work against some factions, such as NH, Bloodcult, Sols, and yes, EL, but i get your point, if you want you can send some ships, the Sols sent a system distress call)

A small task force of Eontenvian ships slow from lightspeed and immediately see the massive Ever Legion battlegroup with planet-sized ships in the center of the formation. The small two hundred meter long generation three battleship and escorts attempt to run away, but are blocked by the interdiction field.

The ships start accelerating to 0.99.99c in an attempt to escape the field through sublight.
