For me i listen to:
-Piano (Calm,Emotional)
-Rock (Skillet,Starset,Three Days Grace)
-Undertale Soundtracks (Original,Remix)

So that's all of that, with Spotify it's incredibly easy to listen to music so i generally have a lot of picks

DeletedAccount I mainly love listening to the 70's and 80's, but I also listen to the 50's, 60's, some 90's, and some 2000's. The genres I like are pop, R&B, disco, country rock, rock, smooth jazz, soft rock, classic rap, electro, theme songs, orchestras, pianos, and retro wave.

depends on what sort of ships in making,if im making rp ships i will just search up all Macross songs that i can think of and blast those in full volume for the immersion,for normal/tournament ships i listen after the rumble of my stomach and the chirps from my birb

DeletedAccount I listen to prog-rock or metal mostly when playing Cosmoteer. My favorite thing to do though is put on some space or sci-fi themed music. Check out Warp Riders by The Sword as an example.

Also dense electronic music like the stuff Carpenter Brut does gets me in the mood to slay enemy spacecraft.

orchestral music (electronic/synthetic or real) such as Nyan Cat Synthetic Orchestra or real such as Johaan Bach Allegro 1 Flute + Violin, electro swings such as Electroswing Revival, mashups here and there (lately, the Meme Mashup) and the odd dubstep (ie Wubbaduck -Danger) and remix (ie Wolfenstein Boom Boom Remix) every now and again

Honestly, I just pick anything that fits my mood and doesn't have lyrics (with the odd exceptions)
