Well this took way too long to get out... I originally started this mod in 0.13.5, and finished it in 0.13.8. Then, it got completely destroyed by 0.14.0, as the updater didn't do it correctly, leaving well over 50 files to be manually repaired. Then, right before I planned to release it, 0.14.2 rolled around the corner, which drew up a lot of my time patching my other mods as well, because that updater wasn't even out yet, not to mention the fact that somewhere along the way, shield penetration resistance became a thing, which cause the shields to simply not block projectiles, while still using power... Anyway, enough talk.
This mod adds a huge collection of various shields, for ships varying from fighters to supercruisers. It has seven tiers of shields, each with 5 different shapes, and mirror-mode compatible LR variants. As the tiers increase in size, so does the cost, and the shields' sizes, as well as shield strength, and power usage. The purpose of this mod is to be able to essentially "wrap" ships in a coat of shields, which is something that the community has begged almost ever since Bubbet's shield mod came out. Speaking of which, this mod also has a copy of Bubbet's bubble shields, along with one of my scrapped shields from another mod, and my Windows XP shield from forever ago.

Before reporting any bugs, issues, or oversights, please take the following things into consideration:
Cosmoteer doesn't like straight shields. It you have an issue with the straight shields not blocking projectiles, especially if it is one of the higher tiers, there is a good chance that it is simply a known Cosmoteer bug, rather than an issue with the mod. Also, tiers 6 and 7 take too much power to supply in vanilla. That is intentional, because tiers 6 and 7 are overpowered, having a total shield health of 40,000,000, and 1,000,000,000 respectively. These shields are designed to only be usable with other, equally overpowered mods, so there isn't much of a balancing issue. This mod has also been thoroughly tested by myself, and @Ultranova (Thank you!), so it shouldn't have any issues. But please do report any other problems you find with the mod!
