...as it appears someone had moved through this field with a few relatively big vessels, in whatever manner for that purpose asteroids must´ve been moved out of the way to further progress into the field...that is until the tunnel abruptly ended slightly further ahead, notably the lifesigns around them seemed to occassionally stop and observe them, though they constantly kept out of sight whatever they were, considering that his current group only consisted of fightercraft and light Vajra soldiers they wouldn´t have to rely on such crude tactics to move through the field...

Drakador_Chaos the squadron continues their path,occationally some asteroids come in their path and the squad will just evade it like a school of fish,but due to lost of natural instinct,some Vajra still bump onto some asteroids,producing nothing but additional red scratches on their exoskeleton

...as it appeared even just the proximity to the territory seemed to affect some of the less strong-willed individuals like some of the workers or rarely a few of the lower ranked soldiers, resulting in aforementioned paranoia and sometimes a subtle feeling of anger or fear, on the other hand the rest of them did not seem to show any of the effects, while in the short term this could probably be solved by only bringing specially selected personnel to the station, long term effects would be difficult to determine at the current time and would most likely require a long-term observation...

The staff would remain under constant supervision by stronger-willed men, and if any too strong effects happened, the patient would be flown out to a different outpost to recover and be replaced for a while. The staff living conditions got drastically improved and extensive courses on these symptoms and how to control them would be mandatory for anyone stationed there. A team of scientists arrived trhough the gate in a shuttle to further examine the symptoms and find a long term solution.

...a decent time after they left the proximity of the planet he found out that most of the outer territories seemed to be compromised of similar environment, rocks, more rocks, occassionally interupted by a lifesign here and there, eventually he reached at least some point of minor interest, namingly a mid-sized barren planet in the distance which seemed to have (relatively) small anomalies on it´s surface, while somewhere in the distance in another direction the outlines of a...jake frowned, planet-sized lifeform? Well, it Cult territory after all... showed themselves at the borders of the sensors, though it did not seem to move...

Drakador_Chaos As inherent of most Scavangers, they rarely trust biomaterial, and it's outlawed to store most forms of biomass in Delta Base Storage without a certified level 3 scientist rank, and an inventory management officer in a good mood. Jake goes to explore the possible anomalies on the small planet. If there's little of interest, he'll continue on to investigate the... "planet-sized life-form". Lucky for him, he is not unprepared, and had managed to get his hands on some classic...

...the Corvette started accellerating further, as both of the anomalies started passing by in the distance, another thing appeared on the sensors, it seemed to be way off the original route though, it seemed to have the size of a cruiser and was surprisingly not a big life-signature, which probably meant it was no cult beast, additionally to that, it showed energy readings which would imply that unlike the K.o.L. ship before it probably wasn´t just a wreckage...

(Fleet)
...it appears due to their careful movements the bigger part of the fleet was able to progress through the field at a at least relatively decent speed, without any major incidents, though it would take a while to completely pass it again...
...in the meantime the small group sent to the wreckage started investigating, it appears the data storages on this ship were broken, so getting any substantial information would be difficult, the hull showed heavy damages caused by Cult-weaponry, however about seven of the originally twenty heavy turbolasers on the ship seemed to be still intact, along with what seemed to be two heavy shield generators, the wreckage was apparently a remnant of the first Cult/K.o.L. war, and some of it´s cargoholds seemed to be still intact aswell...

The corvette steers clear of the cruiser and continues. Its primary goal is to find the bio-labs and info stores of the Cult. Any weapon in these uncertain times is needed.

The Fleet continues while the investigation detail continues searching the ship. The turbolasers and shields are far outdated and inferior, but the technology is still stripped and loaded into the cargo holds for study. Perhaps new insights can be gleaned from the base design of the weapons. Meanwhile, a restorative AI is hooked up to the database and begin running algorithms to restore some of the information.

...as Jake approached the planet the scanners started giving some actually useful data, it appears the "anomalies" on the surface seemed to be ruins of some sort of civilization, while this was nothing out of the ordinary considering it was Cult-territory, after a while it became clear that the civilizations downfall apparently pre-dated the CUlts arrival by at least 50.000 years...
...there seemed to be a small group of lifeforms moving down there through the buildings...Jake scratched his chin...loot? Hm...

...while the Bloodcores and the Anhysbys seemed to be approaching each other on the former battlefield, another energy reading appeared on both parties sensors, in fact several of them, for a few moments they increased in numbers until eventually 49 ships were approaching the battlefield on the sensors, most notably they seemed to be the same as one of the factions that had fought here several hours ago and showed no lifesigns at all...

With more ships arriving, they decide it is pointless keeping the drones waiting.
Many, many drones launch from the ships, two per anhysbys in fact, recharging every 4 seconds.
Within mere moments there was around 40, and very quickly their numbers had doubled.
They for now, moved in a circle around the one that launched them, but would move into two swarms should combat break out.

They continued moving however, approaching the battlefield slowly.

...after short time of travel the Contingency started approaching their former entry point and the of their clash with the Imperium...though, they did not seem to be alone, several ships and lifesignatures were detected in the distance which both seemed to be at least partially biological suggesting it wasn´t the imperium, aswell, while one of the groups was amidst the battlefield with it´s weapons activated, the other one just left the asteroid field approaching the others...

...Kelran went further into Cult territory constantly following the path the Acolytes had given him as at some point he started to notice that the psionical strains seemed to increase by a small amount, and the density of the subspace particles seemed to have risen, after while the environment started chainging, more of the massive lifeforms appeared occassionally, while barren planets still seemd to be common, occassionally dying and newborn suns came into the mix, and another form of barren planet, which seemd to covered in dead biomass...
...he definitely came closer to his target, this was most likely Hunter Core-territory...

...after another while of travel they eventually reached the end of this pre-made sort of tunnel, from this point it would still be quite a while of travel from what little the scanners showed, but considering their small size they should get through at a decent pace, notably as they reached the end of the tunnel, some of the lifesigns seemed to have stopped moving, as if they would observe what they would do next...

...as it appears one of the groups seemed to be a sort of semi-insectoid space faring race (@Jenwuf ), there was a small group of ships surrounding one considerably bigger, while the other fleet showed a mix of Cult and Rift signatures (@RandomCommander ), their "ships" seemed to be bigger though not quite as big as what the other group carried with them, about half of the data of both groups was partially unintelligible, which was most likely either due their technological advance or their completely out of the ordinary physiology...

...as the small fleet moved further into Cult territory they noticed that the ship they originally met had disappeared after calling reinforcements, which entered the field before them, while in the distance the other fleet had seemingly left the territory for some point outside of the borders...
...after a while of travel, they eventually stood infront of the asteroid field they already detected from a distance, something within the asteroids seemed to heavily affect their sensors, considerably lowering their effectiveness...
