Created in 2048, the Polaris Class Frigate, Named after the North Star, was Created to Carry resources to other Planets in a more elegant fashion, with a Cargo Bay with the dimensions of 5X6 Meters, Under the ship's Back Section. Although the Polaris did look Impressive, It's performance Did not match it's looks. Even With it's Point Defences and Laser Turrets, It quickly became outdated due to it's small cargo space, Becoming Discontinued in the Year 2051.
The Existing Frigates were then Sold to Private Collectors and Museums, but Everything changed when the Earth was Destroyed. After which, only Two of the Polaris Class Frigates Survived. However, We are Unsure of their Current Whereabouts. In the meantime, the Ship's outer layers have presumably been corroding, as the Ship's original paint job was added over a decade ago. But, one thing's For Certain: It's a nice thing to know that these relics are still out there.
