Hello Folks. I and a small group of people have decided to start a RP set in colonial times. Now you may be thinking why did you advertise it here then since this is a sci fi game. And to that i respond that we hope that eventually the factions will advance to the space age. though that could take some time. Currently we are very low on members and would gladly welcome anyone who wants to join us. Currently we have three factions and plan to have a few more. Those choices are currently the Californian Republic ,the Traidine empire and the Abyss and Company merc group. We hope that technology will advance at a faster rate then in real world and we will be limiting what you can do each day. The Story so Far
The land of Praecidor is in constant battle between warring fractions. One of the greatest and strongest of these factions, The Californian Republic, has just declared war on a far smaller nation, the Traidine. In light of these actions the Abyss and Company Mercs have been hired to fight off the invaders by the Traidine goverment.
With the Abyss and Company Mercs being hired the Californian Republic held a large propaganda campaign to motivate its people to war. However this backfired slightly as instead of motivating its people they made the people lose faith in the war effort and morale plummeted throughout the republic.
And so the first battle of the war took place with Republic troops marching across the border in a glorious fashion. The Abyss merc's being experts at stealth and ambushes laid ahead waiting for them however. Unfortunately their plan did not quite go to plan as one of their members fired his musket too early which ruined their plan. The battle honestly was a complete shambles on both sides as each of the two factions tried to get a advantage. Overtime the Mercs got the upper hand and pushed back the Republic troops winning the day.
