So I have the game on a computer shared by multiple people, and originally downloaded it on the first user created, but recently I made a different user so I could keep my stuff separate from theirs. I played the game for the first time on this user today and with the update, it downloaded and installed in seemingly the same location, though I have little experience knowing where different files are stored on a computer with multiple users.
When I opened the game, none of the saves of my ships had transferred. So I Went back to the original user's game, which had updated, and copied the ship files into the ship folder of the new user's game with an external device and they worked fine. When I repeated the process with the game saves, it appeared to do nothing different in-game to what it had been like before, no saves.
So I was wondering if the saves from the previous version are incompatible with the new version or what I could do to use my saves on this user. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
