Cosmoteer version 0.14.1 doesn't start on clicking

rok252 Try checking Windows Firewall as well. Windows Firewall can be extremely aggressive to programs that aren't in its library, and it doesn't tell you if it starts blocking something. Also, if you can, make sure that Cosmoteer can find the operating system. I suppose it could be possible that you have your operating system on D:/ or something, rather than C:/, which is where Cosmoteer normally looks at

My best guess is that you have some sort of anti-virus or similar program that's preventing Cosmoteer from creating files on your computer. Try temporarily disabling that, and if that works, then add Cosmoteer to its ignore list.

I have no idea what this means. Cosmoteer doesn't care where your OS is installed.

Walt I assume he means that the OS is installed to the D:/ drive, therefore your documents folder would also be on the D:/ drive.

IVIemories Cosmoteer just asks the OS where the Documents folder is and uses that. It can be on any drive.

Walt The reason that I thought it could be that, is I once helped someone whose Cosmoteer didn't work, and they had recently changed hard drives, giving them D:/ instead of C:/. I am pretty sure that somehow the game tried to read from C:/ instead of the default in that scenario, but I could be remembering crooked...
