My suggestion is that we could customize the crew on how they look for example:

Hat:
Suit:

[HATS: Space Helmet, Officer Cap, Stormtrooper helmet, ...]
[Suit: Space Suit, Officer Suit, Stormtrooper suit, Pirate Suit, Bounty Hunter suit ...]

(Instead of just being able to change the color of the crew we can have also this🙂

No, there isn't anything which says about different suits only name, different races, genders and hair/skin color but not suits.

My current plan is that you will be able to create custom jobs/roles (which can have different customizable A.I. priorities from each other) and that each job/role will have its own customizable uniform color.

I like the idea of crew roles with custom colours.

But I wonder if players could load different crew "sets". Such as pirates, spaces suits, etc.. If Modders were to create crew images knowing that an alpha channel or certain colour would be variable in-game. We could still have custom colours for roles + unique uniforms per player.

You know, when Cosmoteer is done people will still be asking for coffee holders for the flight deck crew 😉
