1:10 Scale Vanilla UNSC Fleet
Many people have had a go at recreating the classic ships of Halo's UNSC. I decided to make versions at 1:10 scale that balance functionality, accuracy, and aesthetics. Some ships are built with 0.14.2's boost thrusters.
These versions are not permanent and I am open to changes and additions as well as possible new ships that vary enough from existing designs.

GA-TL1 Longsword-class Interceptor
Cost: 151,700
Size: 13 units
This starfighter is more of a dedicated bomber or close air support craft than an interceptor or fighter. It may be armed with any number of weapons and used in any number of situations. It's found in most carriers from the Eion, to the Infinity.
Notes: I am content with the ship although it is over 2x larger than the proper 1:10 scale size of 6 units and even more oversized considering in many games it is closer to 30 meters. Slightly under-armed.
Sahara-class Prowler
Cost: 454,275
Size: 31 units
This stealth ship is built to listen in and watch enemy Covenant activity. It has pulse weapons and missiles as self defense, but isn't meant to face direct combat.
Notes: Considering there weren't too many references to go off of as well as the shape of the ship being hard to represent, I'm okay with how it tuned out. It is what I built it to be.
Strident-class Frigate
Cost: 761,550
Size: 60 units
This modern ship trades heavy armor for light shielding. Despite its technology, it is the most minimal of the frigates in its armament.
Notes: I like how the more contrasting colors worked, as well as the paint on the rear wings conveying shape. It looks like a modern UNSC ship would, maybe bordering a more forerunner style.
Stalwart-class Frigate
Cost: 773,950
Size: 51 units
This light frigate is used in planetary and fleet defense in large groups. It is the smallest of the frigates and has a larger focus on cannons over missiles, making it best for taking on multiple targets in a fleet.
Notes: Wasn't sure how to make the shading more interesting but I think it looks fine. I am glad its shape is contrasting enough to the Paris-class as well as being different in armament.
Halberd-class Destroyer
Cost: 820,950
Size: 54 units
By far the most common destroyer class, the halberd is a maneuverable and versatile used in fleet escort as well as attack roles.
Notes: not quite the shape I wanted but it works and is compact enough with the goals in mind definitely one of my favorite aside from some of the shading.
Paris-class Frigate
Cost: 938,700
Size: 54 units
One of the most iconic ships of the UNSC navy, the Paris-class is used to build up fleets as well as assist as ground support.
Notes: Shading turned out good, definitely discernible from the stalwart and has a larger focus on missiles.
Moncton-class Orbital Defense Platform
Cost: 1,678,535
Size: 137 units
This class of stations is all about their massive MACs that allow them to defend a planet from orbit. They also feature 8 small cannons for defense.
Notes: Definitely my favorite, its paint conveys what I would like it too and it looks clean yet mechanical. It's larger than most of the cruisers but is much cheaper since it's essentially a giant gun.
Halcyon-class Light Cruiser
Cost: 2,337,950
Size: 115 units
"A dozen Covenant superior battleships against a single Halcyon-class cruiser. Given those odds, I'm content with three… make that four kills."
Notes: I'm not sure how to feel about the larger ships' paint jobs but I'm okay with this thing representing the Pillar of Autumn.
Artemis-class Battlecruiser
Cost: 3,106,950
Size: 129 units
Built as one of the first large-scale implementation of shield technology on cruisers. It features a fragile but powerful dual-MAC system.
Notes: I'm not really liking the idea of full on shielding on a UNSC ship but I think it looks cool enough to not get the boot.
Valiant-class Super-Heavy Cruiser
Cost: 3,417,175
Size: 153 units
The largest of all cruisers, it has a dual MAC system that is less fragile than the Artemis's. It is used to command and coordinate fleets.
Notes: I like the way this ship looks aside from some parts looking scattered, the railgun system works way better than in the Artemis with the armor in between the rails .
UNSC Spirit of Fire
Cost: 9,193,600
Size: 250 units
A former Phoenix Colony ship converted into a war machine. Currently lost in deep space.
Notes: The shape is bland but I like the amount of detail, I don't know if it was the best ship to spend my time on.
Epoch-class Heavy Carrier
Cost: 10,334,350
Size: 259 units
Its been the core of battle groups since the insurrections, this massive ship can hold a system in control for weeks.
Notes: The paint is a bit simplistic and I couldn't fit longswords in it, but I'm okay with it as a ship of its own.
