Once again, going to settle this one with a dice roll. Going to use a basic six-sided dice for this one, where rolling anything below a four damages you, and rolling anything above a three damages the opponent. I will set the surface lasers to have a bit less health than the unit cracking the bridge, but will increase their damage to it. Rolling a 6 twice will eliminate one surface laser out of the five.

You can also choose to continue attacking the bridge, but rolling anything below a 4 will end up in the attack on the bridge failing, and your unit taking 3 damage from the lasers. You can also defend against the lasers, causing you to take no damage from attacks if your roll is above a 3.
How Damage Works
Rolling a 1: Lose 6 Health / Defense or Bridge Attack Fails, lose 6 Health.
Rolling a 2: Lose 4 Health / Defense or Bridge Attack Fails, lose 4 Health.
Rolling a 3: Lose 2 Health / Defense or Bridge Attack Fails, lose 2 Health.
Rolling a 4: Deal 2 Damage / Defense or Bridge Attack Works, Deal 2 Damage or take no Damage from defenses.
Rolling a 5: Deal 4 Damage / Defense or Bridge Attack Works, Deal 4 Damage or take no Damage from defenses.
Rolling a 6: Deal 6 Damage / Defense or Bridge Attack Works, Deal 6 Damage or take no Damage from defenses.
