I'm loving the game so far.
The major problem I'm having is that I can't work out how to control the crew, or to prioritise tasks.
I frequently find my captain hopping off the ship controls to go and reload a gun, leaving all guns in-operable and my ship floating aimlessly whilst being shot at.
The loading of missiles seems to be very labour intensive so I want to be able to fire off an alpha salvo and then have the crew go and deal with other things but the only way I can find to do this is to delete the missile factory and stockpiles (or the doors to them) before I go into battle.
I never seem to be able to have enough crew either, they seem to need to be near jobs in order for them to bother doing them or they will just mill around in their rooms but I can't get the density of crew I need around the critical weapons and defences. This means that even if I have plenty of crew and plenty of energy, my shields/engines/weapons/workshops all keep running out of power.
Also, why do pawns even need to move batteries, why could we not just have wires? The needless reliance on AI crew members is just frustrating. The system in FTL where you can micromanage where power goes is much more satisfying.
