Mobile Suit: 32 "Aegis"
Aegis was originally a shining white suit, with neon blue glowing in its cracks. It was said to be the manifestation of order whenever it showed up on the battlefield, until the day of the cargo ship's explosion. Fortunately, it was discovered by a Flare Corporation research team in the jungle of an exotic planet, and its scraped and chipped paint was replaced with a coat of black (the neon blue glow did remain, however). It was then retrofitted with the faction's technology. When Flare Corp. was building their AI army, they decided to name their second in command, Aegis, after the suit, and assign its core to the suit whenever the AI was not occupying a ship.
Armament
The armament of Aegis primarily uses admoscite, a mineral which can be compressed into a projectile which destabilizes matter around it, if hit hard enough.
Ranged:
Arm-Attached Atomic Destabilizer - A weapon attached to the suit's left arm, which takes in admoscite, compresses it, and fires it out of a barrel. Once the shot of compressed admoscite hits a target, any matter in the range of the blast becomes unstable, collapsing on itself and imploding.
Admoscite Torpedo Tubes - Tubes around the suit which fire torpedoes, filled with compressed admoscite. Does the same thing as an Atomic Destabilizer, but with a larger blast range.
Lorallonite-Enhanced Beam Prism - A basic plasma-firing linear beam weapon, mounted to the suit's right arm, but with a prism of lorallonite attached to end of the barrel, increasing the power of the beam, and letting it split into multiple beams.
Light Plasma Machine Gun - A plasma-firing light machine gun turret, mounted to the suit's right arm. While weaker than most weapons on the ship, its rate of fire lets it hit its target more often.
Melee:
Two basic plasma blades are attached to both arms of the suit.
Defense:
Surface Beam Turrets - Tiny turrets attached to multiple sides of the suit. The turrets fire a small plasma beam, capable of destroying missiles and small crafts.
Other
Cloaking Device: Y'know, a cloaking device. Functions like most cloaking devices.
Compact Sensor Array: A sensor array, crammed into a compact size.
Owner
The suit is currently owned by Aegis, second in command of Flare Corporation's AI army.
