The affected probe(s) immediately (as in, literally the second the Virus enters after data about it is collected) self destruct, after transmitting details (but not anythign corrupted by the Virus)
(Other note: self-destruct in this case refers to self-immolation with a low-radius high-yield antimatter blast)
more probes appear, though these ones are larger and running far more advanced antivirus sytems, said probes also having shut out all external means of unscreened data entry, at the cost of them takign longer to process information (essentially they are filtering everything they process, at the cost of the speed of processing)
(In case you hadnt guessed, the faction these probes are from are extremely paranoid about their stuff being stolen or downloaded)
