RedAndCosmoteer (you mean the warships that are deliberately harassing the enemy fleet at close range? I'd assume they'd be fairly good at handling losses. Besides, all NH ships have Spatial Fold Drives, which allow for vessels to basically teleport in battle, flanking NH ships is quite hard.)

(on another note, the New Hegemony has developed a fairly good way to keep the enemy from escaping their trap)

(Yes, they are. This is actually why Entropy Missiles are slowly being phased into use as they can cover the Medium range. Because it isn't intelligent to let a weakness like that exist for too long.)

(but still its more of a "fearful threat" to any faction that want to expand and get their hands on strategic world-devastating weapons,as NH being one of the pillars in the Origins,if they can get rid of NH,then they (think they) can also get rid of the Unity or gain enough power to resist against the exhausted Origins,thats why they r targeting you)(also as theres like a rebel fleet that you make which opens up the opportunity)

(If you think about their tech, they aren't OP. Unfortunately many people have a knee jerk reaction to the NH using tactics and strategy to beat people in war and call them OP.)

(from what I know that's a Pincer movement? In that case, the NH could use their Spatial Fold Drives to quickly escape from a flanking attack, that's one of the reasons the new designs still mount that kind of FTL)

I have no idea how to defeat the New Hegemony now. I know it's not OP but i have no idea how to defeat them. I don't have a good brain.)

(I mean, that's kinda the point with their tactics and design, they don't want to lose battles but can't simply make their ships more powerful, so they compensate by a tactic that lets them basically control the battle.)

(yep, developing effective countermeasures to Disruptors is something that will definitely assist in fighting the NH)

(The NH does have non-disruptor weaponry, like Psionics, or Fusion weapons. They have also weaponized Spatial Fold Drives, all but the last aren't mounted on warships normally.)
(note, Psionics are used on all ships, but they aren't usually the main focus, sorry bout that.)
