The Fleet then accelerates toward the High Imperium ships, activating devices on one of the larger EC cruisers, Reality suddenly seems sharper, In the Town of Holdhaven the remaining Militia stand with Vos, watching the Nuclear clouds roll across the plains below, the barrage may have stopped, but it's effects move on, on the Kel'Shir ships the sailors sense the air twang like a bow, on the GSR flagship Hans receives a headache due to the fact everything suddenly seems to be brighter, It is on the Imperium ships however that the force of the reality enforcer is really felt, raw "Realness" for want of a better word is being channeled directly at the fleet, and surprisingly the denizens of the universe can't really deal with true reality, the Imperium sailors realise with horror the quantum impossibilities being executed by their fleets, the tiny possibilities of error that every ship has suddenly seem to open wide like canyons, threatening to swallow their minds whole, many break down despite their mental shielding, others become so paranoid they can barely operate their consoles, the fleet commander has the bright idea of trying to initiate jump, only to find that the EC have also deployed their interdictor, then the EC reach combat range, cruisers pirouette around Imperial fire with the ease of fighters dodging scrap, those shots that do impact do little to no damage, or simply flare off the Combat Energy shields used by the EC when they cannot use stasis, thousands upon thousands of golden glowing stasis cannon shells arc out, each a high-bore cannon shell encased in a stasis field, and impact, pushing through shields and ships alike, burrowing into the bowels of cruisers, and even passing through the ship entirely and out into space beyond, Giant Particle fusion beams send gouts of raw destruction down upon the Imperial ships, then within a moment, the EC ships have flashed past the expanding cloud of debris and crippled ships that used to make up the fleet, the EC appear to have lost several cruisers and many support ships, but with the 1,342,091 cruisers they have left (Check TWE post, I have kept a tally of all EC ships since then) they don't seem overly bothered...
Of the 50-so remaining Imperial ships, the Imperium Admiral's cruiser is among them, she receives another message from Pieron.
