Over 900 of my saved ships are missing! [RESOLVED]

Today I was playing Cosmoteer, but when I opened my ship library, something was off. I only had two ships in the library, but when I checked the saved ships folder, all my 920+ ships were there. I decided to copy the folder to see if there was something wrong, but when the copy came, it only had two ships, despite saying it was copying 920+ items. I can't afford to lose almost one year's worth of ship designs...

G4L4XY That happened with me too, But I only had to restart the game and it fixed itself. It will load extremely long if you have alot of ships though.

You're saying you used Windows to make a copy of the folder with 900+ ships, but only 2 actually got copied? Can you open up any of the original ship files outside of Cosmoteer? It sounds like something may be wrong with Windows or your hard drive. Try restarting your computer first, but if that doesn't work, I'm afraid there's not much anyone can do.

Walt The issue isn't when I open the folder. They're still there, and I can drag them into the game. The issue is, I can't load them by library nor attach them via discord or the forums.

Upload the ships manually using the attach image button on forums, or the little plus button at the left side of the chat bar on discord

IVIemories The issue is that when I do so, the ships do not show up as something to attach. Only 2 out of all 920+ ships appear.

G4L4XY Its possible they'be been turned into a format that is not accepted by discord or browser, but accepted by the game.

Though that does not explain why you cannot copy any of it to another folder, but unless you're not telling us something there's nothing else I can think of other than to move them all to Cosmoteer and save them again.

check if you have multiple folders and check if the one located in the cosmoteer folder has the ships.

Well, this issue couldn't be resolved. When I checked my ships folder again, every single one of them made before the two new ones were gone. Fortunately, I made a backup folder which holds them, but they will have to be dragged into the game manually from now on. Sorry if I wasted your time.
