As the Hegemony delegation entered the system,it was plain that the Unity was fast at work turning the system for their own use; Asteroids and similar dead planetoids were visibly torn to pieces by unmanned craft,exposing the precious mineral ores within. The gas giant,a beautiful orb of white,violet,and brown,was host to several orbital tethers,seemingly extracting gasses from the celestial body's atmosphere. Strange rings were also under construction through the open space,pointing towards the star,though the very plain blockade of ships made it clear; None are to penetrate deeper into the system than the immediate vicinity of the gas giant.

Orbiting the gas giant was one of the twelve kilometre long supercarriers from the first contact event. However,this one bore a radically different paint scheme; If one were to look out the portholes,they would see the attendant fleet's vessels in various states of repainting,carried out by crews on EVA,and swarms of drones.

"Attention,Ambassador Cyrul. You now approach the USV Clear Vision,flagship of Fifth Admiral Yharon,Admiral of the Fifth Fleet. This is the site of the Arch-Curate's summit; If it is your wish to participate,then we require that you abide by the instructions laid out by the Arch-Curate's invitation. If that is indeed your intention,we welcome you to what we hope to be the beginnings of a long,prosperous road."

The starboard hangar bays on the Clear Vision opened,the side facing the inbound diplomatic party,and it began to strobe a gentle light,as if to guide the inbound ships. Unlike before,the ship did not vomit out millions of strike craft.

"A party will be awaiting you in the hangar,Ambassador. Please,enjoy your stay."

The repainted,twelve kilometre ship,dubbed the USV Clear Vision.

"Hail,Ambassadors Akio and Hefox. We welcome you to the beginnings of peace. We are displaying a landing trajectory for your ships,now. Please be advised that our atmosphere is composed of gaseous carbon monoxide,which might be toxic to your species,with an average temperature of thirty Celsius,which might be dangerous or uncomfortable to your people. Please remember to ensure your delegation is properly equipped to operate in this environment... Even for combat,though we dearly hope it will not come to that."

The helm crew of every ship was given their own unique gentle strobing lights to follow; The STE ships were directed into a starboard hangar,while the ZIE ship was directed to space a kilometre away from the starboard side.

"Ambassador Hefox,your ship is too large to dock with the Clear Vision. Stop about one kilometre away from the starboard side,and we'll tug you into a mooring position. Do you have a shuttle to enter the hangar bay with?"

Hefox ship moves to the location given, preparing a shuttle to carry him, 3 Soldiers and 1 Civilian to go to Clear Vision, all equiped with suits to live in the conditions give,
"We will direct ourselves to the hangar bays"

nine of the ten ships touched down.
one however had landing gear problems, and dispached a repair droid to fix it while hovering by its landing zone.
the new line of corvette was still in testing.

The STE ambassador party however, had come prepared
it is hard, due to their differing bioligy, to manufacture air tight suits
however due to the low number of personell actually setting foot off-ship
they managed to get hold of five suits, tailored to both the guards
and Akio.
They somehow, managed to still look decent.
Akio wearing his signature Black and Red robe over the top of his suit.
The five shuffled into the cramped airlock, and the hiss of air escaping as the door opened signaled the end of their wait.
The five slowly walked down the steps built into the frontal landing gear of the Light transport they were assigned to.

"Very well,Ambassador. Welcome aboard. Please,mind the crew; They have duties to attend to,and,as you've no doubt noticed,we're in the midst of a transition."

As the STE delegation arrived,a hangar crew moved swiftly,bedecked in hard,rigid vacuum suits to secure the ships to the deck,and begin to catalogue the superficial damage caused by micro-meteoroid impacts,with another crew attempting to assist in the repairs of the tenth vessel's landing gear,though,unfamiliar with the design,they restricted themselves to telekinetically delivering materials and tools to the repair drones

When the airlock opened,the STE delegation was greeted by a trio of vacuum-suited aliens,making it impossible to truly gauge their appearances. However,the two flanking aliens snapped smart salutes,while the one in the middle bowed deeply at the waist,nearly bending to a right angle.

"I pray you'll forgive me for using telepathy; Our mouths are ill-suited to speaking your language,and we have yet to truly master your tongue. I am the Arch-Curate's Discipula,Zymun,and I welcome you aboard the Clear Vision. We will collect the rest of the delegations,and proceed to the conference room."

(Baah,it's fine,Fang. I treat images as mere approximations,anyways.)

"The Unity welcomes you,Commanders Palemoon and Jaystar. We are delivering approach vectors to your group,though we cannot accurately gauge the size of your escorts,due to the increase of particle matter in the system from our mining. If your attendant escorts are larger than three kilometres in length or width,they will have to moor. We will provide tugs to assist."

Much like the others,gently strobing lights appeared before the bridge crews of the ships,each one a different vector.

A Darkest Shadow fleet, made up of a few Silencers and an Obsidian, In the middle a Chariot. The fleet Seems to Appear out of energy.

Akio winced a little, having not gotten used to telepathy, but regardless understood what was "said" clear enough.
their suits, had been outfitted with microphones and small speakers, to negate the effects of the clothing on speech.

"well, hello! good to meet you Zymun, if you could point us in the right direction we will head to the confrence room immidiately"

meanwhile the tenth ship manages to get the landing gear fixed, in doing so locking it in an extended position, but regardless lands with little difficulty.

The ZIE shuttle lands on the hangar, Hefox, leave the shuttle, using his suit, white with a yellow stripe head to feet, with the ZIE emblem made in yellow on his right shoulder, he does a small sign with his hand as a greeting, with his vocal communicator, made to compensate for the suit cover his mounth, he greets them.

"Hello there!"

"Our ships will not need assistance. We thank you for this offer."
(The ships aren't that big, I think they all (Except of obsidian?) fit into the normal grid size, if not, they're close to it)
The ships' thrusters seem to be almost inactive, But the ships slowly follow the vector.
(I had to look up the definition of vector for this....)

The alien in the centre,Discipula Zymun,tilted his head,and made an odd grating noise in realspace; He used his unseen mouth. However,his reply was psychic,as before.

"While peace is built upon a basis of trust,this is still a military vessel,the flagship of one of our Admirals. As such,I am afraid that you must remain in my escort at all times,due to the sensitive nature of the work carried out aboard this vessel. Further,there is work being carried out on this vessel to complete its transition; I'm certain you're aware of the new coat of paint,the least of such tasks. However,there are other delegates; Let us collect them,then make our way to the conference room."

Zymun glanced at the other ships in the hanger,and his shoulders visibly sagged.

"I was hoping for more,though. Are the peoples of the Milky Way truly that hateful and suspicious of us?"

Zymun leads Ambassador Akio's party to Ambassador Hefox's party. The two escorting soldiers snap smart salutes to their guests,and Discipula Zymun bows once more.

"Welcome to the Clear Vision,Ambassador Hefox. Sadly,our mouths are ill-suited to speaking your tongue,and I pray your forgiveness for imposing telepathy upon you. I am Discipula Zymun,and if you will come with us,we will collect the remaining delegations,and make our way to the conference room."

With a gesture to follow,Discipula Zymun proceeded to the New Hegemony vessel. Just like before,the soldiers salute the delegation,while Zymun bows.

"I welcome you aboard the Clear Vision,friends from Origin."

This time,the alien spoke its native tongue,using its own mouth. The New Hegemony party would understand completely,but not the attendant Milky Way locals. The language sounded like it was composed of rapid,harsh syllables,and many might compare it to the sound of sawing through sheetmetal.

"Once the final party boards,we will retire to the conference room. Please,come with me."

With a gesture,Discipula Zymun leads the party to where the Darkest Shadow delegation was beginning to land.

(But... Vectors are all over basic physics classes?)

A Hegemony Drop ship can be seen in the hangar. The Ambassador wearing an eerily similar suit to the Unity workers, of course it's in Hegemony colors, flanking him are four Fleryg Soldiers, but they seem a lot buffer than normal Fleryg soldiers, their Combat Suits sharing the green tint that the Drop Ship has.

As the Ships land, They create little noise, Almost completely silent. Out of the Chariot comes Commanders Palemoon and Jaystar, They are wearing Light power armor with what seems to be a an open helmet with an Energy field, Both Jaystar and Palemoon have what look like a gauntlet on their Right paws, Their sidearm, Four Guards In Mid-Level Power armor exit as well, Each wearing Two gauntlets, One of which looks different..
Palemoon Seems calm...

Zymun paused for a moment,parsing his thoughts.

"...I have just realized that that can be construed as a threat,which was not my intention. In any case,thank you,and I look forward to a mutual peace in our futures."
