RandomCommander A large fleet arrives, but does not attack. It instead circles the planet, blockading it. More and more ships come until the blockade is complete. Then, something truly MASSIVE comes out of hyperspace, and you know what it is. It is how the Edar Sventari got it's name: a planet miner. Think of the mothership from Independence Day. It is larger than that; it covers half the planet. It does not advance. You see specks coming from the ships, and they are obviously parties to capture everyone. Within hours, the population becomes 0. Then, the Miner moves in.
